just got back from having gelato with katie erickson (the coordinator for Baylor's study abroad programs). i'm sitting out on the balcony because that's where i get good internet reception and it tends to be cooler out here anyway... haha. we took a cute picture in front of the big statue in the duomo (it looks like it's doing a sic 'em bears). i got my favorite gelato: blueberry muffin flavor :) it's quite delicious.today has been a pretty good day. class went by quickly. we started going over pronoun use which can be kind of tricky in italian, but our teacher is very patient with us. then i came back to change and went to the rocks to lay out with some friends. i also got a peach drink that was just fresh peaches, ice, and sugar blended up. refreshing! there is a girl who took classes here that works at a bar near the rocks and they come down to see if you want anything and then will bring it to you. i jumped in from the cliff again today, but the water was really murky. it still felt so good! i'm probably the whitest person at the rocks, but it's okay haha. after the rocks, i took a shower and headed to the meeting with katie over gelato.
the baylor kids are all going to dinner tonight at a place called giovanni's which is apparently good. i haven't tried it yet, so i'm excited to try somewhere new. i'm thinking about going to get a snack though because we aren't eat for a couple hours and i'm pretty hungry. i also want to go shopping.... hmmm.... we shall see!
